Minakari is a craft and art that has a long history. The art of minakari is mostly done on copper dishes, but it can also be used on gold and silver dishes. Mina is formed from the combination of metal oxides and some salt samples at a temperature of about 750 to 850 degrees Celsius, and the colors on the dishes are formed over time and based on the temperature. Today, Isfahan, the cultural capital of Iran, is the center of the production of minakari works.

میناکاری از صنایع دستی و هنری است که سابقه ای دیرینه دارد. هنر میناکاری بیشتر بر روی ظروف مس انجام می شود ولی قابلیت اجرا بر روی ظروف طلا و نقره را نیز دارد. مینا از ترکیب اکسیدهای فلزات و چند نمونه نمک در حرارت حدود ۷۵۰ تا ۸۵۰ درجه سانتی گراد شکل می گیرد و رنگ های روی ظروف در گذر زمان و بر اساس دما به وجود می آیند. امروزه اصفهان، پایتخت فرهنگی ایران، مرکز تولید آثار میناکاری است.
